Character

 

Character. 

According to Merriam Webster it means, "one of the attributes or features that make up and distinguish an individual."

 As a person, character is who we are. Who we can be proud of. It is imperative that you respect your "character" and indeed watch your thoughts, actions, and words.

As a writer, character development is also critically important and at the heart of a story. 

I ask you, what does character mean to you?
