A Novel Idea: Horses and Happy Dancing
I've been working on my first romance novel since last year. My BETA readers completed their reads, and I've been editing away, and am now at the final chapters. I won't lie, I'm ready to do a happy dance!
After I finish these last few chapters, then I'll be giving it a final read before sending it off! And, yes, I'm very excited! I really can't wait to share with you what it's all about! What I can share at this time is that the above photo is a fond flashback pic of me and my heart horse—"Sam's Willow Comet" a/k/a "Sam" taken at a showgrounds. Sam was a beautiful chestnut Morgan stallion with black points and an amazing spirit that became my horse when he was just two years old. Training him will always be a highlight of my life. Sam is part of the inspiration behind my novel, and there's even a horse named after him in it! As a writer, taking real life experiences and weaving them into a story is fun and exciting.
Is there a project you're working on that you'll be doing a happy dance when finished?
Until next time...
Dorothy
